Crocus 18-30 has been set to provide an age group that does not have many facilities with something that they can meet new and local LGBT people to make friends and for support.
We had our official launch party at The Tree House pub in November 2010.
We are starting regular activities, mainly just socials in the local area including nights out at local LGBT events and gay nights and bars , some quiet group socials in the Clocktower Cafe or even a day out with some new friends but to make it perfect it would be great to know what you want to do, how you need support and how you would like to socialise with other young LGBT people or even help out then please get in touch if you have a suggestion. Go to our suggestion page under contact us.
If you want private support, advice on coming out or a quite word with someone trustworthy we have Our new Auntie Crocus(link or on side bar) if you have a more serious situation Auntie Crocus can point you in the right direction. any age any worry or query don't hesitate to get in touch with Auntie Crocus.
Cancelled as a regular event but will be Back Soon! All Crocus 18-30 members are entitled to use of an allocated booth at one of Croydon's new gay friendly venues (REHAB,www.rehabcroydon.co.uk) on their gay night every other Wednesday, A great way to get to know your LGBT community.
Please remember you will need proof that your a member of Crocus 18-30 to be entitled to the booth, so for now please just mention your a member.
For other Gay friendly venues in and around Croydon please see Facilities in main menu..
